SGX-2

The KORG Collection SGX-2 brings the premium piano engine from KORG’s flagship keyboards to your DAW, offering five meticulously sampled concert grands and uprights. You get the German Grand, Japanese Grand, Italian Grand, Japanese Small Grand, and Japanese Upright, each captured with loop-free stereo samples across all 88 keys. Up to 12 velocity layers per key preserve every nuance of your playing, from soft pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. Independent damper and sympathetic string resonances, plus subtle pedal, keybed, and release noises, add remarkable realism. Whether you’re composing cinematic scores, intimate solo pieces, or pop ballads, the SGX-2 responds with lifelike dynamics and rich harmonic detail. It suits hobby producers and songwriters who want authentic acoustic piano sounds without leaving their DAW. With its diverse piano models, you can easily find the right tone for any style or mood.
