SH-MAX

SH-MAX by Cherry Audio is a software synthesizer that draws on three classic 1970s SH-series designs, blending the bold tone of the SH-5 with features from the SH-7 and SH-3A. It delivers dual oscillators, two LFOs, parallel multimode and bandpass filters, ring modulation, sample & hold, autobend, duophony, filter FM, syncable VCOs, and an additive-style oscillator. A flexible SH-style mixer routes VCO-1, VCO-2A, VCO-2B, ring mod, and noise independently to the VCF, BPF, or VCA, each with its own effects chain. Twenty studio-quality effects can be arranged across four chains. Optional drift and slop controls add analog character. Its filters shift from warm to aggressive, making SH-MAX ideal for raw, cutting leads, basses, and experimental textures that sit well in a mix. It suits hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want a versatile, characterful synth with a retro interface.
