ShimmerVerb

Eventide ShimmerVerb pairs spacious reverb with parallel pitch shifting to turn guitars, synths, keys, samples, and vocals into glowing ambient textures. Add octave layers, build harmonies with fourths and fifths, or use MicroPitch adjustments around those intervals for subtle tonal movement. Its pitch range spans two octaves down to two octaves up, while delays of up to one second can sync to your DAW’s tempo. Shape evolving tails with feedback and a low, mid, and high crossover network that controls which frequencies recirculate. Freeze captures the reverb as a sustained, smeared texture, ideal for atmospheric beds and experimental transitions. For hands-on movement, the Ribbon morphs multiple parameters together, while Hotswitch recalls an alternate parameter state within a preset. It suits ambient producers, cinematic sound designers, and anyone wanting expressive shimmer reverb beyond a static wash.
