Sick Noise Instruments NoizeClick is a free kick drum synthesizer for producers who prefer building drums rather than browsing sample folders. Designed primarily for psytrance, it also offers enough pitch shaping and distortion to create kicks for other electronic styles, including hardcore.
Its sound starts with a single sine-wave oscillator. Three independent pitch-envelope sections let you shape the kick’s attack and pitch movement using Start, Decay, Curve and Boost controls. This gives you a practical way to adjust the initial snap and how the tone drops into the body of the drum.
For further shaping, the filter offers low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-reject modes, with cutoff, resonance and gain controls. Distortion adds Drive and Shape adjustments for anything from subtle grit to a more aggressive kick. An ADSR amplitude envelope handles the volume contour and tail, alongside an output-level control.
NoizeClick v1.0 includes no presets, so expect to build your own sounds. The Windows version uses 64-bit VST3, making it suitable for compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
