Social Leecher v1.5 is a Windows audio download utility for collecting file links from music-sharing services. It is a separate tool rather than a VST instrument or effect, aimed at DJs, mix collectors and hobby producers who want to organize downloadable audio outside their DAW.
This version adds Mixcloud support alongside SoundCloud, Mixriot, 4shared, Housemixes and Zippytune. For compatible Mixcloud uploads, it is designed to retrieve the hosted MP3 with its title and tags rather than a short preview or a converted stream. Results depend on the upload, and some older Mixcloud files may not work.
A built-in mini download manager helps save audio when a service supplies a stream or an awkward filename. Collected links are automatically stored in an INI file, allowing you to transfer a whole selection to a download manager such as JDownloader instead of handling each track separately.
Social Leecher supports audio collection rather than recording, synthesis or mixing. Use it only for material you have permission to download; compatibility with the listed services may have changed since this release.
