Sonic Academy ANA2 is a Windows synthesizer for hobby producers who want wavetable synthesis and multisampled sounds in one instrument. Its three wavetable oscillators include analog pitch drift controls, while three multisamplers provide velocity-layer control for shaping how a patch responds to playing dynamics.
For building musical patterns, ANA2 includes a Chord Memory Device and a 64-step polyphonic arpeggiator. These tools make it useful for producers who enjoy working with chord-based parts and repeating sequences rather than programming every note individually. Analog-modelled filters handle tonal shaping, and 26 effects units give you further ways to process your sounds within the synth.
With both oscillator-based synthesis and multisampling available, ANA2 suits users looking to explore sound design without relying on a separate instrument for each approach. This Windows package is listed as ANA2 + Slate Bundle, version 2.5.0, with a download size of 3.3 GB.
