Sonic Atlas: Temple Drums of India Bundle

Temple Drums of India brings three rare South Indian percussion ensembles into your DAW, captured from 40 real temple musicians in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The bundle includes the Pancha Vadhyam Kit (five-instrument temple orchestra), Chenda Melam Kit (15-piece festival ensemble) and Kailaya Vathiyam Kit (deep ceremonial barrel drums), with nearly 4,000 samples across loops, fills and velocity-layered one-shots. You get playable solo, duo and full-ensemble patches, plus individual instrument patches for Thimila, Maddalam, Idakka, Ilathalam and Kombu. The loops are built to evolve—starting slow and building into dense festival climaxes—so they suit cinematic scoring, world fusion, and electronic tracks needing organic, interlocking rhythms. Ideal for producers who want authentic, expressive temple percussion without hiring an ensemble. Requires the free Sonic Atlas platform.
