SONIC EMBLEM SNC2VOL is a free Windows volume-modulation effect that combines a short step sequencer with waveform controls. It is suited to hobby producers who want to explore repeating level changes, rhythmic movement and variable modulation shapes.
The sequencer offers one to four steps, with upward, downward, alternating and random playback directions. Triggering ranges from manual to automatic, while quantize cycle, step length and speed-rate settings let you adjust the timing of the pattern. Negative values on selected timing controls introduce acceleration or inverted action.
The waveform section provides saw-to-triangle shaping, sample-and-hold and square options, plus adjustable sine and sidechain values. Separate controls cover LFO speed, extension, output level and scaling, with negative scale values adding delayed action. These parameters offer several ways to shape how the volume movement develops rather than relying on a single fixed curve.
SNC2VOL requires Pluggo Runtime to be installed. Before using it in a Windows production setup, check that your host supports the required runtime; compatibility with current DAW versions is not specified.
