Sospiro Strings

Sospiro Strings by Ben Osterhouse is a Kontakt string library built for slow, expressive arrangements. Recorded violin, viola, cello and bass bring an intimate character to cinematic cues, ambient tracks and emotional song sections. Four swell lengths offer vibrato for warmth or non-vibrato for a clearer tone, with beat-based timing controls that adapt their movement to your project. Sync keeps newly added chord notes aligned with the first note, while Smart Release shapes the ending according to how long you hold each note. Three sustain articulations expand the palette: fragile cold tones, warm fingerboard textures and fuller, heavier bowing. Load individual instruments for detailed arranging, or use the combined patch for quick sketches and lower memory use. It suits producers and composers who want evolving string phrases rather than fast, aggressive orchestral parts.
