SottovoceDSP Sotto Spindown v2.0.3

Sotto Spindown is a free VST3 and AAX plugin for Windows that recreates the sound of a vinyl record slowing to a stop. Unlike a fixed effect, it gives you full control over the slowdown: draw your own spindown curve and shape the speed reduction exactly how you want it, from a dramatic halt to a gentle fade. The plugin makes this normally tricky automation easy—just press the spindown button to trigger the effect. You can create smooth spindown effects lasting up to 10 seconds, and save your custom curves as presets to reuse across multiple projects. It’s aimed at hobby music producers (ages 25-55) working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic on Windows who want to add realistic vinyl-style stops to tracks, transitions, or sound design. Whether you’re producing hip-hop, lo-fi, electronic, or experimental music, Sotto Spindown offers a straightforward way to get that classic turntable slowdown without complex routing or manual automation.
