SoundFingers Dub-SPL4 is a four-band audio splitter effect for producers and live performers who want hands-on control over different parts of a mix. It divides incoming audio into Sub, Low, Medium and High bands, with fixed crossover points at 70 Hz, 600 Hz and 3 kHz. Each band has its own volume knob and kill switch, so you can adjust the balance or instantly drop a frequency range during a performance.

Built with dub mixing in mind, Dub-SPL4 also suits techno, drum and bass, hip-hop and other electronic styles. Place it on your master bus for live frequency cuts, or use it on a drum bus or keyboard track for more focused tonal shaping. Low-pass and high-pass filters offer additional control, with selectable low or high resonance settings.

DAW-based MIDI learn supports a hands-on workflow with mapped controls. On Windows, Dub-SPL4 runs as a 64-bit VST3 plugin, making it suitable for compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. It can serve as a straightforward multiband EQ as well as a performance effect.
