Space Age 555

Space Age 555 by Audiority is a meticulous emulation of the late-’70s Roland Chorus Echo RE-501/SRE-555, a vintage tape echo unit prized for its warm, organic character. This plugin delivers six echo modes, a BBD chorus, and a spring reverb, along with an internal compander and Sound On Sound head for creative layering. The Baxandall bass and treble controls, plus adjustable noise, chorus, and reverb levels, let you shape everything from subtle slapback to lush, swirling ambience. Tempo sync and ducking make it easy to fit echoes into any mix, while the resizable interface keeps workflow smooth. Whether you’re producing dub, ambient, synthwave, or classic rock, the Space Age 555 adds authentic tape-based texture to guitars, vocals, keys, and drums. It’s ideal for hobby producers seeking iconic vintage echo without the maintenance of hardware.
