Space Delay

Space Delay is a tape echo plugin that recreates the warm, organic sound of a classic 1974 tape delay unit. It offers three playback heads, a variable-speed motor, and onboard spring reverb, with 12 operating modes for a wide range of analog-flavored echo textures. You can pan each head and the reverb independently for immersive stereo effects, shape the input with high-pass and low-pass filters, and use ducking to keep echoes from cluttering your mix. Lo-fi controls let you add unit noise and tape age for extra character. Built on detailed physical modeling and dynamic convolution, it delivers authentic tape saturation, wow and flutter, and spring reverb nuances. Ideal for producers and sound designers seeking everything from subtle slapback to lush, dubby ambience, it suits genres from reggae and dub to ambient, rock, and electronic music. Works in any DAW.
