SSA Plugins aXPlugins Suite is an Ambisonics effects and utility collection for producers, sound designers and audio engineers exploring spatial mixing. It covers the core stages of an immersive audio workflow: placing sources, processing multichannel signals and decoding the result for monitoring.

Use aXPanner to position mono or stereo material within an Ambisonic sound field. Once encoded, your tracks can be shaped with delay, EQ, compression, noise gating and de-essing tools designed to handle Ambisonic signals without compromising their spatial information. The suite also provides panning and monitoring tools, with the aXMonitor series offering binaural decoding for headphone playback.

Unlike a conventional stereo effects chain, this workflow uses B-format audio to represent direction and elevation independently of the final playback setup. That makes the collection useful for building immersive sound scenes and learning how spatial production differs from standard left-right mixing.

This Windows package is supplied in VST3 and AAX formats. Before adding it to your setup, check that your DAW supports the multichannel routing required for Ambisonics.
