SSL G-Master Buss Compressor

The SSL G-Master Buss Compressor by Waves recreates the legendary bus compressor found on SSL console master buses, prized for gluing mixes into a cohesive, polished whole. Its feedback compression design controls levels smoothly and unobtrusively, adding a satisfying smoothness to stereo buses, drum buses, backup vocals, and solo instruments. Licensed and validated by Solid State Logic, it includes a sidechain filter for precision, a Trim control for quick level adjustments, and a Mix control for easy parallel compression. Dozens of presets from Grammy-winning engineers help you get started fast, while the design avoids overcompression—hitting it hard softens the knee rather than crushing your mix. This plugin suits hobby producers and mixers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want pro-grade bus glue and punch without a steep learning curve.
