St. James EL34

The St. James EL34 from Blackstar is a guitar amp plugin that captures the authentic tone and feel of a real valve amplifier, designed rather than modelled. It excels at classic British crunch and sparkling US-style cleans, delivering the warmth, chime and natural compression that defined iconic 60s sounds. It’s an ideal pedal platform and really comes alive when you push its power stage hard. The plugin includes CabRig, Blackstar’s advanced DSP speaker simulator, which reproduces the sound of a mic’d-up cabinet with zero latency and no phase issues. You get a curated selection of nine classic Blackstar cabinets and six industry-standard microphones, making it easy to dial in great recorded tones. It runs standalone and as VST, AU and AAX, with a built-in noise gate. This plugin suits hobby producers and guitarists who want authentic valve amp character for recording or live use in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic.
