Steinberg VST Live Pro is a Windows live performance application for musicians who need to coordinate sound, video and lighting during a show. Rather than serving as a single synth or effect, it brings several performance tasks into one system, making it relevant to solo artists, bands and producers taking their music from the studio to the stage.
A collection of virtual instruments provides sound sources for performances, while synchronization features help keep musical elements aligned. VST Live Pro can also display text and chord symbols on other devices, giving performers a way to follow song information during a set. Video support adds a visual component, and MIDI tracks can be used for direct DMX lighting control.
Cubase import offers a route for bringing material from that production environment into a live setup. For hobby producers planning performances with more than audio alone, VST Live Pro combines musical tools and show-control functions without treating lighting, video and onstage reference material as separate concerns.
