STL ControlHub is a mixing effect for Windows that brings captured hardware and software processing chains into one plugin. It suits home producers and mix engineers who want to work with chain-based packs from established mixers and studios, or create reusable models of their own setups.

Using STL’s Tracing Technology, the Tracer analyzes the sound of a processing path and builds a model for use inside ControlHub. That path can be a single preamp, EQ, compressor or limiter, or a combination of processors arranged as a complete mixing chain. Guided assistance walks you through routing connections and the modeling process, helping you get from an existing setup to a usable capture.

Compressors can also be captured separately and added to new or existing presets with full parametric control. For producers interested in exchanging processing approaches, Trace Exchange provides access to community presets and a way to share captures. ControlHub combines ready-made mixing chains with tools for building a personal library of modeled processing.
