Stormdrum 3

Stormdrum 3 is a cinematic percussion instrument built on EastWest’s OPUS engine, featuring world-class drums from the private collections of Mickey Hart and Remo Belli, played by master percussionists including Greg Ellis and Chalo Eduardo. Produced by Nick Phoenix of Two Steps From Hell, it delivers epic, tempo-synced percussion performances recorded in EastWest Studio 1. The OPUS software includes an SSL FX Suite with EQ, Dynamics Channel Strip, Transient Shaper and Stereo Bus Compressor, plus a true stereo reverb, Amp Simulator and Ohm Force Ohmicide distortion for deep sound design. With five user-controllable mic positions per instrument, it suits film, game and trailer composers, as well as producers needing powerful, expressive percussion for epic or atmospheric tracks.
