Strike 2

Strike 2 by AIR Music Technology is a drum instrument and arranger for producers who want expressive performances without programming every hit. Its 19 customizable kits, recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, cover sounds from acoustic R&B and acid jazz to big, reverberant ’80s drums. Shape the playing in real time with controls for intensity, complexity, timing, groove, and dynamics, or automate changes to build evolving arrangements. Thousands of editable preset patterns provide starting points for pop tracks, soundtrack cues, and guitar practice sessions, while the onboard Style Editor lets you write your own rhythms. Close, overhead, and room microphone recordings offer different perspectives on each instrument, with a built-in mixer and effects for shaping the result. WAV and AIFF sample support also lets you bring your own sounds into the setup. It suits hobby producers and songwriters seeking flexible, human-feeling drum tracks.
