SuperPlate

SuperPlate by Soundtoys recreates the lush, immersive sound of five legendary electromechanical plate reverbs in a single plugin. It meticulously models the EMT 140, EMT 240, Audicon, Stocktronics RX4000, and EcoPlate III, capturing each unit’s unique tonal signature—from the bright, spacious EcoPlate to the darker, tighter EMT 240. Choose from three analog coloration flavors (Tube, Solid-State, Clean) to add warmth or transparency. Modern features include infinite decay, built-in predelay, expanded modulation, full EQ, and decay ducking to keep mixes clean. Ideal for hobby producers seeking authentic plate reverb for vocals, drums, guitars, or any track needing depth and character. Whether you’re after classic vintage warmth or modern control, SuperPlate delivers studio-grade plate sounds without the hardware.
