Synergenesis

Synergenesis is a Kontakt instrument that brings the legendary Bell Labs digital synthesizer—the 300lb ‘Blue Monster’ known as Alice—into your DAW. Built from the ground up to capture the pioneering spirit of early digital synthesis, it delivers a uniquely characterful palette of tones that sit somewhere between vintage warmth and futuristic edge. Beyond its core synth sounds, Synergenesis shines as a percussion powerhouse, offering over 220 drum samples drawn from the original GDS/Synergy II+ factory library of the early 1980s. These are presented as two main kits plus preview sets for easy filtering and dynamics shaping, and multiple instruments can be used across MIDI channels. All drum sounds are also included as 24-bit WAV files, plus 16- and 8-bit versions for hardware samplers like the MPC series. Whether you’re a producer seeking rare vintage digital textures or a sound designer after punchy, leftfield percussion, Synergenesis delivers history with a modern workflow.
