Synthx V

Synthx V is a software instrument that recreates the Elka Synthex, the Italian polysynth famous for its wide, multi-timbral sound. Arturia’s circuit modeling delivers two virtual analog DCOs per layer with saw, triangle, square and pulse waveforms, plus cross and ring modulation, hard sync and unison. A Curtis CEM3320 multimode filter, noise generator and BBD chorus provide the classic 80s character. Its bitimbral solo and duo modes, stereo link and 16-voice polyphony let you build stacked, hard-panned textures, while the Multi-Arp adds four arp layers for counterpoints and generative patterns. Drag-and-drop modulation, a master LFO and a four-slot FX rack extend the original design for modern sound design.
