The TAL-J-8 is a meticulous emulation of a classic 80s analog polysynth, calibrated against TAL’s own Jupiter 8 hardware. Every sound is generated in real-time, with no samples, delivering the same endless modulation possibilities as the original. A standout calibration section lets you push the filter into extreme resonance and overdrive for aggressive, screaming tones. VCO-based unison with stereo spread and a full stereo signal path create wide, lush pads, punchy basses, and soaring leads. MPE support adds expressive per-note control, while microtuning (tun file import and MTS Client) suits experimental and world-music producers. Over 300 factory presets from solidtrax, emptyvessel, Electric Himalaya and others give you a strong starting point. A resizable GUI, MIDI mapping, and MTS/MPE support round out the package. It’s ideal for hobby producers chasing authentic vintage warmth in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
