TAL-NoiseMaker v4.2.2 is a free synthesizer for Windows, aimed at hobby producers who want to build basses, leads, pads and animated electronic sounds. Its straightforward interface keeps the controls visible without hidden panels, while a value display helps you make precise adjustments.
The sound engine combines two main oscillators with a rectangle-wave sub oscillator. Waveform selection, oscillator sync, FM and ring modulation provide several ways to shape the tone before it reaches the filter. Choose from multiple low-pass slopes alongside high-pass, band-pass and notch options, with adjustable drive for extra edge.
For movement, two LFOs offer free-running, host-synced and note-triggered operation. Dedicated filter and volume envelopes sit alongside a routable ADSR, supporting both sharp attacks and gradual pad swells. Up to six voices and mono or polyphonic portamento cover chord parts and sliding melodies.
Built-in chorus, reverb, delay and a pre-filter bitcrusher let you finish patches inside the synth. MIDI learn makes hardware control easier, and included factory presets give FL Studio and Ableton producers useful starting points for exploring synthesis.
