TAPED: Corroded Wires

TAPED: Corroded Wires by KLANG is a characterful guitar instrument that turns Telecaster tones into a haunting blend of tape echoes, saturated guitar and organ textures. Recorded through various tape delays at different time intervals, its sound embraces the warmth and uneven movement of tape rather than pristine polish. Saturation, wow and flutter bring a worn, nostalgic quality that recalls old recordings and four-track experiments. Use it to add atmosphere to understated beats, build evocative melodic parts or give a track a rougher, more intimate edge. It suits producers and composers who enjoy guitar-based sounds with an unusual character, especially when a clean instrumental tone feels too predictable. Expect beauty in the imperfections, with tape coloration central to its identity.
