TAPED: Spiel Uher

TAPED: Spiel Uher by KLANG turns the delicate chime of a music box into a nostalgic, tape-colored instrument. Recorded through an old Uher tape machine, its sound pairs familiar, bell-like notes with the warmth and imperfect character that define the TAPED collection. It’s a natural fit for gentle melodies, hazy lo-fi beats, intimate soundtrack cues and dreamlike layers behind a larger arrangement. Controls for length and tone let you shape the notes, while a Lo-Fi effect offers another way to explore their worn-in character. Switch on the ensemble function, distortion, delay or reverb to take the music box beyond its simple origins. Spiel Uher suits producers and composers looking for a charming melodic texture with a distinctly nostalgic feel.
