TD-201

The TD-201 by Black Rooster Audio is a vintage tape echo plugin that recreates the warm, saturated sound of classic analog delay units. Inspired by the legendary Roland Space Echo, it offers a multi-head mode selector for seamless transitions between playback heads, letting you blend delay and reverb like the original hardware. Per-head fine-tuning gives you precise control over depth, volume, and stereo position, while tap and sync functions lock the tape speed to your project tempo. The result is a rich, characterful echo that adds depth and movement to guitars, vocals, synths, and drums. Unlike fragile vintage units, the TD-201 is stable and intuitive, making it ideal for hobby producers and seasoned engineers alike who want authentic tape delay character in the box. Whether you’re crafting dub-style echoes, ambient textures, or subtle slapback, this plugin delivers the goods with modern reliability.
