Tethys – Expressive Synth Keys

Tethys is an expressive synth keys library built from 16 banks of noisy, idiosyncratic synth recordings. Unlike pristine software synths, it intentionally preserves character, imperfections, and noise within the samples, using multiple velocity layers to soften harsh digital edges. The result is a nostalgic, lo-fi sound ideal for moody ambient pieces, chillhop, and cinematic textures. It includes 20 hand-crafted presets and a one-click randomize feature that generates entirely new patches for endless inspiration. Built-in FX come with automatable controllers, while pitch-bend and filter cutoff are assigned to the modwheel for expressive performance. Tethys suits hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want synth sounds with warmth, grit, and personality—perfect for atmospheric tracks that need a human touch.
