The Hammer

The Hammer II by pica Audio is an aggressive compressor designed to add punch, character, and energy to your tracks. Built around the raw force of classic hardware, it features a single Comp knob for intuitive gain reduction, attack and release controls to shape transients, and integrated harmonic saturation that adds warmth and density. With zero added latency, it’s perfect for real-time recording and parallel compression. The Hammer II excels at bringing buried elements forward, making it ideal for hobby producers working on drums, vocals, or full mixes in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic. Its straightforward workflow lets you dial in bold, musical compression by ear, transforming ordinary tracks into powerful, dynamic sound.
