The Usual Suspects DSP56300 Emulator 1.2.5 MultiOS + ROM’s [FREE]

The Usual Suspects DSP56300 Emulator is a free, open-source project that recreates the Motorola DSP56300 chip in software, letting you run classic hardware synthesizer ROMs on your computer. It works as a plugin (VST) for Windows, macOS, and Linux, so you can use it in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and other DAWs. The package includes working ROMs for several Access Virus models: Virus B (4v9 and Ver. T), Virus C (6v5 and 6v6), Virus Classic, Virus GmbH B & C, and Virus Rack XL (6v5). This version 1.2.5 improves CPU usage significantly compared to earlier releases, making it more efficient for everyday use. It’s aimed at hobby producers and sound designers who want the authentic sound of these legendary virtual analog synths without owning the hardware. The emulator is lightweight (60MB) and available for multiple platforms. Whether you’re into electronic music, trance, or just exploring classic synth tones, this tool offers a legal way to experience the Virus sound. Note: You must provide your own legally obtained ROMs if not included.
