Thick Pre

Thick Pre is a preamp emulation plugin that recreates the warm, smooth character of a classic vintage-style preamp. Using advanced neural network modeling, it captures the complete sonic essence of the original hardware, including its rich harmonics and subtle nonlinearities. The Presence control lets you add extra harmonic content for added bite or air, while the unique Deep switch extends the low end for a larger, thicker sound. Independent harmonics control lets you dial in saturation without affecting other tonal aspects, and low-frequency saturation can be toggled on or off for added girth. Ideal for vocals, bass, drums, and mix bus processing, Thick Pre suits producers seeking authentic analog warmth with modern flexibility. Part of the Deep Vintage series, it delivers vintage soul with minimal CPU usage and latency, making it perfect for hobby music producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
