Thomas Mundt LUveler is a free loudness and dynamics processing plugin for producers, podcasters and audio editors who need more consistent levels. Its ITU-R BS.1770-compatible processing can narrow the gap between quiet and loud sections, automatically level spoken recordings, or adjust overall loudness while preserving dynamic range.

Target Level sets the desired loudness in LUFS, while separate High and Low Correction controls determine how strongly the plugin adjusts material above and below the specified input level. Max Gain caps the available boost, and Freeze Level prevents gain from rising when the input falls below a chosen loudness threshold. These controls help you manage uneven recordings without unnecessarily flattening their dynamics.

True peak limiting manages output peaks, although readings from external meters can exceed the chosen ceiling by up to 0.2 dB. LUveler supports sample rates from 8 to 192 kHz and introduces 35.375 ms of latency. The Windows VST version suits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. There are no built-in meters, so pairing it with a separate loudness meter is useful.
