TDR Elliptical is a stereo width control plugin focused on managing low-frequency stereo information. It uses an elliptical filter that processes the stereo difference channel, making it useful for mastering and mix situations where excessive width in the low end causes problems. Unlike traditional elliptical filters, it offers a continuously variable slope, both minimum and linear phase modes, and a dry mix control for parallel processing. To counteract the perceived energy loss that filtering or mono summing can cause, it includes several compensation options: Dynamic Bump, harmonic generators, and Haas delays. A built-in frequency analyzer shows the stereo difference down to DC, helping you see exactly what’s happening in the sub-bass region. The interface is freely resizable and hardware-accelerated, with full-screen support. This plugin is aimed at hobby music producers and mastering engineers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic on Windows who need precise control over low-end stereo width without compromising mono compatibility.
