Michelangelo is a stereo tube EQ and harmonics generator plugin modeled after the handbuilt Hendyamps hardware. It delivers broad, musical EQ curves with rich tube coloration, making it easy to shape tracks and mixes quickly. Beyond the hardware emulation, the plugin adds per-band control over frequency, mid/side panning, and tube drive, plus HP/LP filters and extra parametric bands. A standout feature is transient/body separation, which lets you apply EQ moves selectively to transient or sustained parts of the signal. There’s also a dynamic EQ section with a musical compressor/expander, usable per band or across all bands for multiband dynamics. Aggression and Calibration controls adjust the tube circuitry from subtle warmth to saturated drive, and you can blend between triode and pentode topologies.
