Toy Marimba

AudioThing Toy Marimba brings the character of a handmade rosewood-and-rope percussion instrument into your Kontakt setup. Restored before sampling, this small marimba delivers woody strikes and contrasting bamboo-mallet tones for playful melodies, delicate rhythmic patterns, and textured arrangements. The main hits feature three round-robin variations and three velocity layers, adding variety as you play. Slides and ascending or descending glissandos at three speeds offer expressive transitions, while slowed-down recordings explore airy, wooden textures suited to ambient passages and experimental sound design. The collection includes six Kontakt instruments, four multis, 291 samples recorded at 44.1 kHz/24-bit, and seven custom reverb impulse responses. With Kontakt and WAV formats included, it suits producers and composers looking for distinctive tuned percussion beyond standard keyboard sounds. The Kontakt instruments require the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt.
