TR-727

The TR-727 brings Roland’s 1985 Latin percussion Rhythm Composer into your DAW as a software instrument. Recreated with Analog Circuit Behavior modelling, it captures the original’s 15 percussion sounds and gritty 8-bit character while adding modern controls for tuning, decay, and more. Where the hardware was fixed and limited, this version opens up shaping possibilities for tribal house, acid, afrobeat, reggaeton, techno, and pop productions. The familiar TR-style step sequencer and hands-on faders make it quick to program infectious grooves, whether you’re layering congas, timbales, and agogos into a club track or adding rhythmic texture to a beat. It suits hobby producers and seasoned beatmakers alike who want authentic vintage digital percussion without hunting down rare hardware. If you make dance music or Latin-influenced styles and want that unmistakable 80s drum machine flavour, this plugin delivers it with modern flexibility.
