Trident Mk III Synthesizer

Cherry Audio’s Trident Mk III synthesizer brings the multitimbral magic of the original 1981 and 1982 Trident hardware into your DAW, with three distinct sections—Synthesizer, Brass, and Strings—each now offering up to 16 voices. This virtual instrument delivers the sweeping synth tones, bold brass stabs, and lush string ensembles that defined an era, while adding modern velocity sensitivity, aftertouch (including polyphonic), and expanded modulation. The lower panels include a Motion section with dual arpeggiators and a 16×2 polyphonic step sequencer, plus 17 studio-quality effects like BBD flanger, compressor, phaser, and Lushverb reverb, arrangeable in four effects chains. With over 370 presets and comprehensive MIDI mapping, Trident Mk III is perfect for vintage synth enthusiasts and contemporary producers seeking an orchestra-in-a-box for electronic, pop, and film scoring.
