TS-808

TS-808 by Tactile Sounds brings the character of the Roland TR-808 into a software drum instrument. Its sounds were developed using SPICE circuit simulations based on the original service schematics, then refined through waveform and spectral comparisons with carefully selected hardware samples. The result is an approach focused on capturing the distinctive tone of this classic drum machine while offering room to experiment. Most voices include more parameters and wider adjustment ranges than the original hardware, letting you move beyond familiar 808 settings. Use it to build electronic grooves, hip-hop rhythms, or pop drum parts that call for vintage drum-machine character. TS-808 suits hobby producers who want an 808-inspired VST instrument with sound-shaping options that extend beyond straightforward recreation.
