Tunefish by Brain Control is a compact additive/wavetable synthesizer built to deliver a wide range of sounds without an overwhelming set of controls. Its additive-based wavetable generator and flexible noise generator provide starting points for melodic patches, textured layers and experimental sound design. Shape the tone with lowpass, highpass, bandpass or notch filtering, then add movement using two ADSR envelopes and two LFOs routed through a modulation matrix. The interface visualizes modulation, helping you follow how a patch changes as you work. For finishing touches, Tunefish includes flanger, chorus, distortion, delay, reverb, EQ and formant effects, with a stack that supports up to ten effects in any order. It suits hobby producers who want an approachable synth for exploring different timbres, as well as sound designers who enjoy getting creative with a focused toolkit.
