Turtle Ocarina

Turtle Ocarina is a Kontakt instrument that recreates the earthy, breathy voice of a traditional Mesoamerican globular clay flute, shaped like a turtle and featuring four finger holes. Built from 175 audio files and 2,814 Kontakt samples, it offers eight microphone options for shaping the tone from intimate and dry to roomy and atmospheric. The sound is rustic and organic—ideal for cinematic scores, world music, ambient textures, or any track needing a primal, human touch. It suits hobby producers exploring folk instrumentation, composers seeking distinctive leads, and sound designers layering earthy textures. Whether you’re writing a quiet acoustic piece or adding a haunting, ancient flavor to electronic music, this instrument delivers an authentic, tactile playing experience.
