Twisted Energy by Minimal System Group is a Windows-only analogue-modelled subtractive synth built for electronic music production. Its three oscillators offer sine, triangle, saw, square and noise waveforms, giving you the foundations for dark techno basslines, biting leads and evolving pads. Two multimode filters help shape the tone, while dedicated oscillator envelopes and three LFOs feed modulation matrices for animated pitch, pulse width, amplitude and filter movement. For rhythmic patches, the 16-step gate sequencer adds pulsing patterns, with tempo-synced delay and reverb providing space and depth. An overdrive control brings extra warmth to the sound. Visual oscillator feedback and a logically arranged interface support hands-on patch building, while 20 presets provide starting points. With low CPU usage, Twisted Energy suits hobby producers who want to explore modulation without overloading their Windows-based setup.
