UAD Woodrow ’55 Instrument Amplifier

Capture the raw, touch-sensitive tone of a legendary ’50s American tweed amp right inside your DAW with UAD Woodrow ’55 Instrument Amplifier. Universal Audio has painstakingly modeled the entire 5E3 circuit — from preamp and power tubes to transformer and tone stack — delivering punchy cleans, rich harmonics, and gritty overdrive that responds to your playing dynamics. Whether you’re after the jangly country cleans or raunchy rock crunch heard on classic albums, this plugin puts authentic vintage tube sound at your fingertips. Use it to reamp dry DI tracks with six classic speaker setups, perfectly placed studio mics, and dynamic room sounds — no physical amp or mic required. Artist presets help you find your tone fast, from crispy cleans to overdriven rock. Ideal for guitarists and producers seeking iconic tweed character in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
