Zynaptiq UNFILTER Educational Version is a real-time audio restoration and EQ plugin for correcting unwanted tonal coloration. It automatically identifies resonances, comb filtering, excessive EQ and frequency roll-offs, then lets you reduce their influence with a single control. Use it to rebalance problematic recordings, clean up dialogue or tackle uneven frequency response in music production and mastering. Beyond correction, UNFILTER can transfer a measured filter response to another recording, helping different sources share a similar acoustic character. You can also import or export filter responses as WAV impulse responses. Adaptive, free-form and graphic equalization provide additional tonal shaping, while a steep 96 dB/octave high-pass filter and output limiter support cleanup workflows. It suits producers, sound designers and audio post-production users working with challenging material. This educational version is available only to eligible full-time students and faculty, with proof of educational status required.
