Viator DSP Vibe Mechanic is a free multi-effect plugin for producers who want to add lo-fi texture, reshape tonal balance, or give sounds a spacious reverb tail. Its three independently bypassable modules—distortion, tone, and reverb—let you move between dry, gritty processing and softer, more atmospheric results.
The distortion section offers six characters: lo-fi, hard, soft, tube, fuzz, and saturation. Up to 20 dB of drive and a mix control help you dial in anything from a light edge to heavier breakup. The input control affects the whole plugin, while the distortion output adjusts only that section.
For tonal shaping, you get tilt EQ and a midrange shelf, each with ±15 dB of adjustment, plus a midrange cutoff spanning 200–5,000 Hz. Switch the tone section before or after distortion to change how the processing interacts. Reverb controls cover room size, damping, stereo width, and wet/dry balance.
Ten built-in presets provide starting points, and selectable interface themes let you customize the appearance. Version 1.1.5 also fixes a DC-offset issue that could cause audio spikes.
