Vintage Dead ADpak

Vintage Dead ADpak is an expansion for Addictive Drums 2 built around a rescued 1968 Ludwig kit that was custom-converted into concert toms and heavily dampened for maximum punch. Recorded in a purpose-built near-anechoic space at Stockholm’s Ingrid Studios, every piece was treated with cloths, tape and gel to kill unwanted ring while keeping close and overhead mics ultra-separated. The result is tight, thumping drums with tons of character: smack, slap and low-end weight that sits easily in a mix. Blend in room mics to taste, crank processing on individual pieces, and shape beats without the rigidity of loops. It suits beatmakers, modern indie and psychedelic pop producers, and hard-hitting rock mixes alike. Mix-ready presets and dynamic, multi-sampled performances give hobby producers a fast route to drums that genuinely hit harder.
