Vintage Vocals

Vintage Vocals by Big Fish Audio brings the character of 1960s and 1970s female backing vocals to your productions. Built around performances by three experienced singers, this Kontakt instrument delivers soulful Oohs, Ahs, and Ohs with sustained notes, short staccatos, and rising swells. Use it to build warm vocal pads, reinforce a melody with unison lines, or add rhythmic accents to funk, soul, R&B, and classic rock arrangements. Rather than chasing a polished choir sound, it preserves the expressive quirks and small imperfections that give vintage backing vocals their personality. Keyswitches let you change sounds and articulations as you play, while pre-programmed chord patches make three-part harmonies accessible with a single finger. It suits hobby producers and composers seeking retro vocal character without arranging a live session. Requires Kontakt 5.7.1 or later and works with the free Kontakt Player.
