Vinyl Studio 8.8.3 is a Windows audio utility for turning vinyl records and cassette tapes into organized digital albums. Rather than working as a VST effect inside your DAW, it provides a dedicated recording, cleanup and track-splitting workflow. It suits record collectors, hobby producers and anyone preserving an analogue music library.
Capture your LPs or tapes, divide each recording into individual songs, then search online databases for track names and album artwork. Built-in restoration tools tackle clicks, scratches, tape hiss, hum and rumble. Channel-balance correction and multi-level undo/redo give you further control over the cleanup process.
Finished tracks can be saved in several audio formats, including MP3 and AAC, or burned to audio and MP3 CDs. WAV tagging supports both ID3 and INFO metadata for better identification in compatible players.
Version 8.8 also adds adjustable recording buffers, easier reordering of recorded album sides and native DSD recording through compatible ASIO hardware, including quad-rate DSD support. For producers, it is a practical tool for digitizing and organizing analogue recordings separately from their main production software.
