VirSyn TERA is a modular software synthesizer for producers who want to build custom sounds, layer multiple synth parts, and experiment with evolving textures. Its engine combines virtual analog, FM, waveshaping, formant synthesis, physical modelling, and a Spectrum oscillator for wavetable-based sound design.

You can run up to 16 complete modular synths at once, shaping their signal paths with wireless module connections and a modulation matrix. Each of the three main oscillators can also load samples, with key and morph zones for multisampling setups. The 8D morphing panel lets you move through changes across as many as 64 sound parameters using a mouse or MIDI controllers.

For beatmakers and electronic musicians, TERA includes a 64-step sequencer with variable rhythms, chord sequences, and real-time transposition. A song editor can arrange up to 256 sequences, while onboard effects and a mixer support standalone composition. More than 1,200 presets provide starting points for exploration.

This Windows version runs standalone or as a VST2 plugin on Windows 8.1 or later, making it suitable for compatible FL Studio and Ableton Live setups.
