Vital Audio Vital is a wavetable synthesizer for producers who want to build their own electronic sounds and understand how each change affects them. Its spectral warping tools reshape a waveform’s harmonic content, letting a straightforward starting tone develop into a substantially different texture.
You can convert samples into wavetables with pitch-splice or vocode processing, draw custom material in the built-in editor, or generate wavetables from text. Animated waveforms, filter displays, oscilloscopes and spectrograms make it easier to follow your sound as you edit.
Modulation uses a drag-and-drop workflow with a preview before you commit a connection. Custom LFO curves, responsive envelopes and random sources including Perlin noise provide movement, while velocity, aftertouch and MPE modulation add performance expression. Stereo modulation can create differences between the left and right channels, and curve remapping lets you refine individual modulation connections.
For hobby producers exploring wavetable synthesis, Vital offers both visual guidance and detailed sound-shaping options. This Windows version requires Windows 10 or later, a 64-bit system and OpenGL 3 or higher.
